I also highly recommend Unicef's Impact Evaluation Series, which includes several well-done research methods YouTube videos.
Udacity is a MOOC, a Massive Open Online Course, housed on YouTube. Udacity allows you to register for individual courses for free. There are two introductory statistics courses offered by Udacity, which you might find helpful: "Intro to Descriptive Statistics," and "Intro to Inferential Statistics." Here is a video tutorial I put together to show you how to join these courses:
